This is a Well Circle for those who would like to observe Rosh Chodesh and engage in practices that support their well-being from a Humanistic lens. My co-facilitator and I value being engaged in Jewish community, but do not center a belief in a diety or the supernatural as a significant part of our Judaism.
In this circle we will invite ritual, community building, and reflection that is focused on our shared human experience and interconnectedness with one another rather than the supernatural.
The circle is open to those who are humanist, atheist, and agnostic, as well as those who believe in a deity/higher power but would feel comfortable in a space where this is not centered. This circle is anti-racist, LGBTQ+ affirming, feminist, disability affirming, and fat affirming.
We’ll alternate between Center City/Old City, Fishtown, and South Philly.
We’re glad you're looking to connect with a Well Circle! Fill out the information below and we’ll notify you if someone near you volunteers to get a circle started.

Well Circles are independently-run groups who gather monthly to share and grow together.
More on circlesA new Well Circle is typically organized by 1-2 people who lead the process of inviting a small group to form a circle. We have plenty of resources to support our members who are forming new circles.
Each Well Circle member commits to meeting monthly for Rosh Chodesh. You can get started by browsing open circles, starting a new circle, or signing up for notifications about circles in formation!
Circles gather around the new moon and use the month’s Moon Manual to build an intentional space for reflection, storytelling, and support. Every circle is unique and sets their own intentions for the space.
Most of our events are for those 18+ who identify as women or nonbinary. Join us!
