This cohort is crafted specifically for ages 55+

Join us to learn how the Hebrew calendar and the lunar months can help you listen to your heart, draw from ancestral wisdom, and honor the transitions in your life.

As we age, we become especially mindful of using our time with intention and creating a legacy of living authentically. We also see the cycles of time reflected in new ways within our bodies.

Together, we'll speak with honesty about the big moments in our lives — including menopause, retirement, illness, grief, grandparenthood, and beyond. We'll learn what Jewish wisdom has to say about these thresholds and transitions. And we'll hold all of this and more within a caring community space led by expert facilitators and teachers.

FAQs

Who is this cohort tailored for?

This cohort is for women and nonbinary people age 55+ who are curious about sacred time and the power of Rosh Chodesh. If you feel called to live with greater intention and to connect with a supportive community, we'd love for you to join us!

No prior knowledge or experience is required — you can come from any spiritual tradition or from none at all. This will be an accessible community space centering supportive learning and connection.

Can I take part if I'm not Jewish?

Absolutely! At The Well welcomes people of all spiritual backgrounds. Jewish wisdom has so much to offer in supporting your well-being. Whether you identify as Jewish or not, we welcome you to our resources and events, including this incredible cohort. Our Community Guidelines have more information about how we create inclusive and authentic spaces.

How will the guided small group sessions work?

We have designed this program to have a “touch base” each week to create deeper connections, and a rhythm throughout your week and month. On the full moon week of our month, we will meet together and discuss the themes of the month in smaller, confidential break out groups. This will give you a chance to go deeper with yourselves, with the other in the cohort, get more vulnerable, and more messy with the content. To allow us to meet as many of the other participants as possible, you’ll be paired with new people each week.

Why ages 55+?

This Sacred Intention cohort is designed to specifically honor the needs and experience of those 55+. As we age, we become especially mindful of using our time with intention and creating a legacy of living authentically. This group will use the power of the Hebrew calendar and the lunar months to help you listen to your heart, learn from this ancient wisdom, and connect with others in a similar stage of life.

Not 55 yet? Don't worry — we love intergenerational spaces, and will continue to offer other experiences that are for all ages 18+. Join the waitlist here and you'll be the first to find out!

When do sessions take place?

Our monthly wisdom sessions are required and will take place online at 11am-12:30pm PT / 2-3:30pm ET on: October 8, November 5, and December 3, 2024.

All other sessions are optional but highly encouraged, and will take place on Tuesdays at 11am PT / 2pm ET.

What is the expected time commitment?

We suggest setting aside 1-2 hours each week to participate in this cohort. Week 1 of each Hebrew month includes a required Monthly Wisdom Session, and we also highly recommend the optional meditation sits, small-group learning, and "Mindful Mixtape" gatherings to get the most out of this experience.

You'll also receive a monthly self-nourishment challenge and self-expression prompts to take your learning deeper.

How much technology is involved?

The Sacred Intention cohort is held entirely online, so you'll need access to a personal computer and a private place to listen and participate. You'll also need a free Zoom account. (We will hold "Tech Office Hours" to answer any questions before our live sessions start. We're happy to show you the basics on how to use Zoom, so you know how to control your camera, mute and unmute yourself, and join the conversation in the chat.)

We'll also send emails and text messages each week to help you deepen your learning.

What benefits can I expect from participating?

Participants in our most recent Moon-by-Moon Cohort told us that it deeply nourished them and they left feeling more connected to their spirituality, their bodies, and their community.

As one participant said: "While we have each had our own journeys, I have felt the sisterhood and connection as we walked together. I especially thank the At The Well team for their expert, gentle and loving guidance. This experience has been very, very special and I will always remember it."

What is the refund policy like?

Refunds will be issued in full for refund requests received on or before September 17, 2024. After Sept. 17, no refunds will be issued. Spaces are very limited, and we want you to create meaningful relationships with other participants through sustained connection.

How do I sign up?

Spaces in this cohort are limited. Reserve your spot here. We'll be in touch with a required questionnaire to help us get to know you. Please share as much detail as you’re able and comfortable!
