Join At The Well for a special in-person event for women and nonbinary folks in Brooklyn, New York!
Laila and the Tree of Souls for Tu B'Shvat
Join us on Thursday, January 25th from 7:00-9:00 p.m. in Williamsburg for a special Tu B'Shvat celebration with At The Well Brooklyn. We will gather for nosh (dinner and Tu B'Shvat snacks), community-building with women and nonbinary folks, study, and creative writing.
We will learn about the Jewish holiday of Tu B'Shvat, the New Year of the Trees, encounter Laila, the Midwife of Souls, read poetry, and do our own creative writing in response, with plenty of time for chevruta (partner or small group learning) and sharing as we work to build Jew(ish) community in North Brooklyn.
This session will be led by feminist Torah scholar and At the Well Scholar-in-Residence and Community Organizer Sivan Rotholz. Come eat, chat, and celebrate the trees with us!
