POSITION SUMMARY

At The Well’s Program Manager is accountable for refining our programmatic strategy, running and evaluating our programs, deepening our reach and network connection, and standing as a host and facilitator for At The Well programs. This role reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer.

Specific responsibilities include:

Program Execution

  • Host virtual and in-person programs, standing as an inspirational subject matter expert for all things ATW
    • If the candidate is located in a city where we have or want to acquire funding, facilitation of local programming would also be expected
  • Coordinate all back-end program logistics using ATW tools and platforms, including calendaring and creating event pages, managing registration, procuring venue/nourishment/supplies, post-event follow-up, payments, record-keeping, working with internal data, and reporting
  • Locate and manage all external vendors required for a program, including caterers, location contacts, and other relevant suppliers
  • Create run-of-show documents for virtual and in-person events, coordinating training with facilitators and volunteers to be ready for the program
  • Lead the creation of pre-and post-event evaluation and data management with a particular focus on acquiring the data needed to support any grant-related goals
  • Collaborate with Development to set and achieve program-related grant deliverables, supporting with applications and reporting needs

Network Coordination

  • Field front-line communication with ATW Network members and those new to ATW about program offerings and opportunities
  • Encourage connection between our community members – weaving a supportive network where individuals can share, learn, and grow together in their spiritual journeys
  • Identify and nurture network members to step into leadership opportunities – virtually or in-person
  • Coordinate and recruit moderators for our community membership – inspiring individuals to regularly engage with Jewish ritual and sacred time
  • Coordinate with Marketing to ensure promotions accurately depict programs and are posted on time, asking for additional support when program registrations are not on target. Support outreach by creating and sending emails inviting people to upcoming events
  • Coach women interested in starting or joining Well Circles, providing guidance, resources, and connections to others in our network

Create and Adapt At The Well’s Programming

  • Collaborate and ideate with Executive Leadership on new ideas for programs, iterate on existing programs, and ensure consistent program evaluation
  • Supervise outside consultants and volunteers who help create At The Well programs, including regional program facilitators, subject matter experts, and other facilitators
  • Seek and cultivate partnership opportunities, opening up new programmatic and audience opportunities for ATW
  • Continually evaluate and iterate on ATW programs with an eye toward reaching our organizational goals and program-related grant deliverables
  • Watch for engagement trends within the ATW community to develop strategies for deeper involvement

  • 4+ years relevant work experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Highly organized strategic thinker and arranger who can manage multiple complex tasks in a timely way
  • Exceptional written and verbal interpersonal skills with the ability to cultivate strong relationships with teammates
  • Flexible and adaptable work style with the ability to work under tight deadlines and shifting priorities
  • Motivated self-starter with strong attention to detail; capable of working independently as well as within a team environment
  • Unwavering integrity and trustworthiness, with a proven ability to exercise independent judgment, problem solve, and use discretion; deep sensitivity to maintaining confidential information
  • Expertise in “managing up” and holding colleagues accountable
  • Availability to work occasional late evenings and weekends
  • Proficiency and comfort with technology including Google Workspace, Salesforce, Zoom, Asana, and Slack

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

This is a 40-hour/week position. Compensation will be between $60,000-75,000.
