Below, we're sharing our favorite tips for iPhones and Androids to help keep the Hebrew dates front and center in your life.

For iPhone
Add the Hebrew Date to Your iPhone Calendar:
- Open Settings on your iPhone. Scroll down and tap on Calendar.
- Tap on Alternate Calendars.
- Select Hebrew from the list of options.
- The Hebrew date will now appear alongside the Gregorian date in the iPhone’s native calendar app.
Add the Hebrew Date to Your Lock Screen:
- First, make sure to add the Hebrew date as an Alternate Calendar.
- Open Settings on your iPhone. Scroll down and tap on Wallpaper.
- Tap to customize your lock screen.
- Tap the widget area, usually a box at the top of the screen.
- Select Alternate Date, which will display the Hebrew date.
Add the Moon Phase as Your Wallpaper:
- Open Settings on your iPhone. Scroll down and tap on Wallpaper.
- Tap +Add New Wallpaper
- Choose Astronomy, and select the Moon option. The moon wallpaper will wax and wane in alignment with the skies.
For Google Calendar & Android
Add the Hebrew Date to Your Google Calendar:
- Open the Google Calendar app on your Android device.
- Tap the menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the top left corner.
- Scroll down and tap Settings.
- Tap on General.
- Select Alternate calendars.
- Choose Hebrew calendar from the list to display the Hebrew dates alongside the Gregorian dates.
